Charter Communications Inc.ist einer der größten Kabelbetreiber der USA, der Breitbandnetzwerke mit koaxialen und Faseroptikkabeln herstellt und Kunden in etwa 25 Staaten mit Video-, Daten-, interaktiven und privaten Netzwerkdiensten versorgt. Alle Systeme bieten auch das herkömmliche analoge Kabelfernsehen. Die Verfügbarkeit von digitalem Fernsehen wird beständig erhöht und eine Reihe von fortschrittlichen Produkten und Diensten wie Hochgeschwindigkeitsinternetzugang, interaktive Videoprogrammierung und Video-on-Demand werden offeriert. Daneben bietet das Unternehmen auch Telefondienste über das Breitbandnetzwerk an und baut das Telefonieren mit VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) aus. Im Mai 2016 erfolgte der Merger mit Time Warner Cable.
